England is a great place to place poker. There are so many poker rooms that making a choice is actually the most difficult part. Below we list our three personal favorites, but there are certainly other good options. 
Dusk Till Dawn Poker and Casino is located in Nottingham, England. It regularly gets rave reviews from visiting punters. Situated in the Midlands, it’s not only the biggest but in fact the only British venue solely dedicated to the game of poker. There are 45 custom designed poker tables that offer seating to as many as 450 players at any given moment. A variety of games are on offer, including Omaha, Hold’em and Dealers’ Choice. Games kick off with low buy-ins, so anyone can take part in the fun irrespective of their budget. Next on our list is Grosvenor Vic in London. The Grosvenor Casino room, which is affectionately called ‘The Vic’ by patrons, is the perfect spot to find lots of high-rolling poker action and many a British poker star have learned the basics of the game at the same tables you will be playing when you visit. This place draws a mixed crowd of poker players, some who just pop in to meet other players and others who are professionals. The poker room can accommodate as many as 250 people. Games are on offer throughout the day and it’s very unlikely that you won’t get a seat where you can settle down and take a shot at the big money. Our third choice is the Hippodrome Casino on the corner of Leicester Square and Charing Cross Road in London. This places has a rich tradition of entertaining both locals and visitors over many years. It started life as a circus in 1900, and in 2009 it became a casino with a cabaret theme. The poker room, known as PokerStars LIVE, is situated in “the gods” of the former theatre seating, giving players an unique view of the casino floor below. With a restaurant, five bars, live cabaret and music, three gaming floors, and a shisha terrace this is the perfect choice for people who want an entertainment-filled night out beyond just playing poker. Before you depart on your poker trip it will of course make sense to brush up on the finer aspects of the game.
